Lomandra Lime Tuff is a fantastic Australian native grass-like plant prized for its vibrant lime-green foliage, compact form and exceptional toughness. Its fine, arching leaves form a beautifully dense, rounded clump, bringing fresh colour and wonderful texture to the garden all year round.

Hardy, versatile and extremely low maintenance, Lime Tuff is ideal for mass planting, borders, pathways, rockeries, slopes and contemporary landscapes. It also looks fantastic planted in pots where its bright foliage can provide contrast against darker plants and containers.

Once established, Lime Tuff is remarkably resilient, tolerating heat, dry conditions, light frost and a variety of soil types. It performs beautifully in full sun to part shade and is an excellent choice for difficult areas where you want something attractive without lots of maintenance.

Small, lightly fragrant yellow flower spikes can appear amongst the foliage, adding extra seasonal interest without detracting from its neat, architectural appearance.

Tip: Lime Tuff generally needs very little pruning, but if an older plant starts looking tired, remove damaged or brown foliage and give it a tidy-up in late winter or early spring. Follow with a feed and a deep watering to encourage a fresh flush of brilliant lime-green growth.
