Alocasia Wentii is a spectacular tropical foliage plant prized for its large, glossy emerald-green leaves and stunning bronze-purple undersides. Often called the 'Hardy Elephant Ear', its bold, upright growth and dramatic foliage create an instant tropical statement, making it a standout feature in shaded gardens, patios or large decorative pots. The impressive leaves sway gently in the breeze, adding movement, texture and a lush rainforest feel to any space.

Growing to around 1–1.5 metres tall and wide, Alocasia Wentii thrives in warm, humid conditions with rich, well-drained soil and bright, filtered light or part shade. It is an excellent choice for creating a tropical oasis and pairs beautifully with ferns, palms and other lush foliage plants.

Tip: Keep the soil consistently moist, but never waterlogged, and feed with a quality liquid or slow-release fertiliser during spring and summer to encourage vigorous growth. Protect the plant from cold winds and frost, and remove older leaves as they age to keep it looking fresh and healthy year-round.
