Vireyas 100

Vireyas are spectacular tropical rhododendrons prized for their vibrant, exotic flowers and attractive evergreen foliage. Their beautiful blooms are often trumpet-shaped and can appear in striking shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, cream and combinations of these colours, creating an impressive splash of colour in the garden.

With their lush foliage and brilliant flowering displays, Vireyas are wonderful for sheltered garden beds, tropical gardens, courtyards and decorative pots. They prefer a warm, protected position with bright filtered light or morning sun and protection from harsh afternoon heat.

Vireyas require excellent drainage and perform best in an open, slightly acidic growing mix rich in organic matter. Keep them evenly moist during warmer weather, but avoid allowing the roots to remain waterlogged.

Tip: Good drainage is particularly important for Vireyas. When growing them in pots, use a free-draining potting mix and avoid oversized containers that can hold excessive moisture around the roots. Lightly pruning after flowering will help maintain a compact, bushy plant and encourage fresh growth for future flowering.
