Pieris also know as The Lily of the Valley shrub grows 2-3m high and prefers a cool part-shaded position in the garden. The flowers are waxy and range in colour from ivory white to deep pinky red and hang in tassles. They require mulching during the warmer parts of the year to help protect their root systems.
