Nandina domestica 'Nana', also known as Dwarf Sacred Bamboo, is a compact, low-growing evergreen shrub prized for its neat, mounding habit and year-round colour. Fresh green foliage emerges in spring, often taking on attractive bronze and red tones through autumn and winter, adding warmth and interest to garden beds. Reaching around 40–60cm high and wide, it is perfect for borders, mass plantings, pathways, rockeries, pots and low-maintenance landscapes. Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun to part shade and suits a wide range of Australian gardens.

Tip: For the richest autumn and winter foliage colour, plant Nandina 'Nana' in a sunny position and apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy, vibrant growth.
