Lomandra Tanika is one of Australia’s most popular and reliable landscape plants, prized for its neat, compact form and vibrant green foliage. Growing to around 50–60 cm high and wide, this hardy clumping grass adds year-round colour and texture to any garden style. Its fine, arching leaves create a soft, elegant effect, making it perfect for mass plantings, borders, median strips, and feature pots.

Highly adaptable, Tanika thrives in a wide range of soil types, from sandy to clay, and performs well in full sun to part shade. It is exceptionally low-maintenance, drought-tolerant once established, and capable of withstanding frost, heat, and coastal conditions.

Top Tip: To keep Tanika looking lush and fresh, trim back by about two-thirds in late winter or early spring every few years. This rejuvenates the plant and encourages a dense flush of new green growth.
