Blechnum Silver Lady 125mm

Blechnum ‘Silver Lady’ is a beautiful, elegant fern with lush, finely divided green fronds that form a wonderfully symmetrical, upright crown. Its graceful foliage gives it an almost palm-like appearance, making it a striking feature plant for shaded gardens, patios and tropical-style settings.

As the plant matures, it can develop a short trunk topped with a magnificent crown of arching fronds. Silver Lady loves warm, sheltered conditions and is particularly attractive planted amongst other ferns and foliage plants where its distinctive shape really stands out.

Tip: Silver Lady appreciates plenty of moisture and humidity, but good drainage is essential. Protect it from harsh afternoon sun and drying winds, and add a layer of mulch around the base to help keep its roots cool and moist.
