Capsicum Big Bertha 100mm

Capsicum Big Bertha produces some of the largest sweet bell peppers, with fruit reaching up to 20–25 cm long. These capsicums are thick-walled, glossy green that ripen to a rich, vibrant red. Despite their impressive size, the peppers remain sweet, mild, and virtually seedless, making them perfect for stuffing, grilling, roasting, or slicing fresh into salads.

This variety is a strong, bushy grower with excellent disease resistance, ensuring a reliable harvest of jumbo-sized fruit.

‘Big Bertha’ thrives in warm, sunny conditions and is a standout both in garden beds and large pots.

Tip: For maximum flavour and sweetness, allow fruits to fully ripen to deep red before harvesting. Regular picking of green fruit will encourage more continuous cropping.
