A popular, robust, evergreen, ornamental plant with shiny burgundy leaves and distinctly pink new growth. Hardy and low maintenance this plant will remove chemical toxins from the air, like formaldehyde. Used more often as an indoor plant it is also great on verandahs and patios as a potted specimen. If planting outside in the ground be aware it can grow over 20m and become a canopy tree so allow plenty of room.
