Olive Frantoio Heritage is widely grown for its fruit and oil. It is considered one of the best varieties for producing high-quality olive oil.

The plants are medium-sized trees and have a dense, rounded canopy with grey-green leaves that are narrow and lance-shaped.

In spring, Olive Frantoio Heritage produces small, inconspicuous flowers that are followed by green olives. The olives mature in autumn and turn black when ripe. They are relatively small and have a high oil content.
