Passionfruit Panama Red 130mm

A classic Australian favourite, Passionfruit Panama Red is a vigorous, long-lived passionfruit variety renowned for its large, smooth-skinned fruit and superb sweet-tart flavour. The rich golden pulp is aromatic and juicy, making it perfect for fresh eating, desserts, smoothies and summer drinks.

This strong climber produces masses of striking white and purple flowers followed by heavy crops of fruit across a long season. Ideal for covering fences, pergolas or arbors, Panama Red is both a productive fruiter and an attractive garden feature.

Tip: Feed regularly with a citrus or fruit tree fertiliser during the growing season and keep the vine well watered while flowering and fruiting. A strong support and a light prune after harvest will keep the vine healthy and productive year after year.
