Sage Golden 100mm

Sage Golden is a medium-sized, golden-leaved sage from Southern Europe, featuring striking purple flowers in summer. This hardy perennial thrives in well-drained soil and adds vibrant colour to cottage gardens, borders, or dry-area landscaping.

In the kitchen, it’s a versatile herb that can be added at any stage of cooking. The young leaves are milder and work beautifully in teas and drinks. It also makes a soothing gargle for sore throats when combined with mint.

Golden Sage pairs well with bold herbs like rosemary, garlic, thyme, parsley, coriander, cardamom, oregano, and marjoram. It's excellent in herb stuffing and enhances the flavours of rich meats such as duck, pork, lamb, and venison, as well as robust vegetables like potatoes, pumpkin, leeks, and onions.
