Celebrating Motoring History in the Great Lakes Region

This Sunday, 7 June 2026, motoring enthusiasts from across the region will gather for another fantastic event hosted by the Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club Inc. at John Wright Park, Tuncurry, from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Founded in 1991, the Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club has become one of the Mid North Coast's most respected automotive clubs, bringing together people who share a passion for classic, vintage, veteran and historic vehicles. What began as a small group of enthusiasts has grown into a thriving club of more than 150 members who enjoy social drives, technical support, vehicle restoration, community events and car shows throughout the year. The club proudly promotes the preservation of motoring history while fostering friendships and community connections.

At Lumpy's Nursery & Landscape Yard, we are proud sponsors of the Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club and the wonderful work they do in preserving these beautiful pieces of Australian motoring history.

Jeff and Jenny will be trying to attend this Sunday's event to present one of the sponsored trophies and to catch up with the many club members and visitors who share a passion for quality, craftsmanship and heritage.
